this game is an anger issue fest

I'm not a new player, I'm not new to Tekken either... And I never saw so much anger issues in a Tekken game before

Well, I don't wanna talk about the dudes who come to complain in the forums because they are hardstuck, or because their (already broken) character has been nerfed, or because of not defending an attack well. I want to talk about the online in general now

So, first people wanted to remove the FT2 in quick... And recently I have been finding three types of people: i) players who don't rematch only because I didn't play the 1st game well; ii) ppl who rematch until I start winning iii) ppl who ki charge for literally no reason; only a minority of players have rematched me for about 10 games or so. Almost no one rematches for more than 5 games now and yet before the update ppl were complaining about FT2...

I haven't been playing DVJ much lately; I took a break from DVJ since Heihachi came out, and after learning him, I started re-learning Asuka until last month. I literally picked up DVJ again just a few days ago; I'm super rusty so I misinput/drop combos often (can't even do electrics as consistently as before); and ppl instead of just having fun decide to be super toxic or decide not playing at all (although I'm talking about players who pick up even worse characters (cheesywise) than DVJ)

Steve players who keep doing that ultra evasive stance into mid launcher OR guard break; Reina players literally cancelling the rematch after they lost the 1st or 2nd game (I know the match up); Jin players not rematching either, because I guess Jin is way more honest and less broken than DVJ.

And just in case, I wanna clarify that most of the time I give a hard time to the players I play with in quick; normally we end in red life and in the final round

Maybe it's just a regional thing, but everyone rematches when I play. I enjoy the infinite rematch option and don't think it's the cause of your issues.

It takes time to re-adapt to playing a Mishima. I don't think people are intentionally being toxic when you misinput or drop combos just because you're a Mishima. It's more likely that you're perceiving it that way.

Toxic players do exist, though, and you can always Ki-charge back if you want.

That said, I’m not from your region, so my experience might be different.

Sometimes you get a bad day when nobody rematches for whatever reason. but i'd say most of time it's fine. I'm getting a lot of rematches, and I play Alisa! It's hard to imagine DJ being more hated than Alisa. So far I get the most rematches from Jin and Bryan players, they are willing to play vs me forever. In general, male character mains are more mentally stable. Reina/Lili mains always run away no matter who won. I have documented evidence of these facts.

After playing quick matches for a while to protect my rank I went back to ranked games.
Sure, it feels bad to lose a rank I don’t deserve but it generally feels better to play ranked for me personally.

Everyone plays at 100% or close to it and there is no rules to get salty about. QM supposed to be more friendly but feels worse.

I'm getting used to now. Although I think I just found players who didn't want to rematch and that's it, for whatever reason. Recently I played with a Jun and a Bryan player who kept rematching

Yeah, I take quick matches just as a practice session or to test new set ups, punishments etc

90% of players don't know how to sidestep or block anyway, so the only thing left is make her jab -20.

btw this youtuber isn't an Alisa specialist, he doesn't know a single combo and uses jab strings as a wall ender etc.. Doesn't even know that her u1 is too slow to punish rage arts. But he can beat Lidia just by mid pokes and low pokes:

That's not an accurate conclusion when you take Tekken prowess into consideration and regional skill disparity, I've fought people from EU, NA and Asia, and blue rank skill in each of these regions are vastly different.

My sausage fingers Ki Charge all the time by accident. I don't care if others Ki Charge either. It's not that offensive TBH. Rematch arguments always get made online, but sometimes the phone rings, Amazon knocks at the door, ppl come home and you can't rematch. Not everyone has this much free time to infinitely rematch.

I found a Bryan player in quick who was blue ranks (194k prowess) but played super well in comparison with other blue ranks I found in ranked. He's been the 1st person I found who launch punished DVJ's d1 pc move (-14) and even duck reacted to bf2,3.

Yeah I get your point. Some days ago I had to go after just playing 4 games, and I still got insulted on my profile. But I don't think that every person has to do something else exactly at the same time, yk. Besides, I found a player who didn't rematch me, but then I got matched up with him again in the same session (and I still didn't get the rematch xd)

I ki charge a lot accidentally. I'm trying to learn a leverless controller and fat finger that input a lot for some reason.

I think the problem with Tekken is so many random inputs are interpreted as a grave insult. This is a weirdly insecure community.

Not talking about accidental ki charges. I don't usually ki charge back and I don't care either, but I'm talking about ki charging in the end of the round and then waiting 10 seconds to cancel the rematch on purpose, or spamming ki charges in the end of the game. I get it you can accidentally ki charge, it happened to me too; but spamming ki charges in the end of the round isn't "accidental"

Especially if you ignore the ki charge completely, but then the guy who ki charged you starts insulting you in your profile...

Even in tekken 7 I remember there was a kazumi player who added me just to tell me to kill myself
