DLSS PSA
If anyone here can already run this game 100% resolution scaling or use dlss I highly recommend using the DLSS 4.0 transformer model. The game looks alright with TSA but like all temporal anti aliasing it looks horrible in motion. With the new transformer model it looks so much smoother and the image is just better all around. All you have to do is swap the dlss dll file and use nvidia profile inspector go down to section 5 when you are in the tekken 8 profile and change the preset used to J and if you don't need the performance you can force DLAA.

Swapping DLSS version in online games can lead to false positive bans tho

I've been using DLSS 3.1.11 and forcing DLAA tweaks on this since the beginning. No issues.
Looks awesome. But the main thing is to go to the GameUserSettings.ini, there's a resolution scalability group there. Mine was at 66. Turned it in to 100, then next scroll down, usedynamic resolution=False. That's the most important thing to make this game look crisp.

Not anymore though everything is going in control panel/nvidia app. Not sure if games will still have dll or if its just kinda injecting/overriding on the fly.

This game doesn't even have anticheat
i'll say go one step further and use dldsr+dlss4, post processing low. ♥♥♥♥♥ crisp.

How did you switch to DLSS4? My Nvidia app doesn't even detect Tekken 8 lol

Yeah, you wouldn't want to risk becoming the first person in Tekken history to actually get banned.

Gonna bump this one, since the driver update Tekken 8's been crashing with the new dll. Switching back to the last dll prior to DLSS4 and it works again. Was fine with DLSS4 until the driver update last night. Anyone else having this issue? Will report in bug thread later

Fixed it by deleting DLSSTweaks from the game, removed all the DLSSTweaks file from the folder with the shipping exe

yeah actually this is true, the game dont have anticheat, so there's nothing that will flag the new .DLL file.

what profile inspector branch you're using? I've replaced the DLL, but I can't find the setting to switch the dlss preset in the latest inspector by Orbmu2k... I'm on latest nvidia drivers / 4090 laptop.

I downloaded CustomSettingNames.xml from some mod and the settings appeared in the inspector. So I set the preset letter to J, and I don't see any difference.

Thanks buddy, I was wondering why my Tekken 8 has Polaris Crash with Fatal Error notice after updating my graphic card. Now it works again after deleting DLSSTweaks :yeah_tk:
