I have some problems with memory (including Teken) since I built my new PC, and I'm not certain if it's a hardware or software issue, but what I have noticed that observing memory usage, much like quantum mechanics, colapses the waveform and the cat is alive.
That is to say, if I open task manager, that's when the memory cleares.
memory leak could be windows.
try killing the Explorer.exe in task manager and running Tekken 8. can also kill off Steam overlay options to check that.
when done testing, click run new task in taskmanager top left corner.
TAAU is native res .. so Idk what you are expecting your card to do
I have a 3090 & 7800x3D and even I have to scale it down to 75% with AA on low to avoid microstutters
I run with Vsync on, as I don't really want screen tearing.
That's a fair statement on this being UE5, as tbch the engine's just bad. UE5 sucks.
I watched task manager and nothing's getting maxed out, even though the game dies in performance.
I'm suspecting it's a Windows issue or an issue with the newest driver. I'll do some runs over on the Nobara Linux half of my dual-booted system.
Doesn't happen on my steam deck which I honestly slightly stretch the settings on.
You have Vsync on . You have DWM on and hardware acceleration on ..
Its not the game its a fighting game it needs 100% attention on the game.
Running multiple processes in the background will cause multiple interrupts.
Adding post-processing resources for the desktop will take up Directx and every frame (literally) counts. Tekken isn't a FPS and it isn't low impact like Streetfighter 6.
I understand every frame matters. Would I be able to get to Battle Ruler without that knowledge?
Punishing a Bryan without falling into his traps is significantly harder when the game starts to die.
Would I be coming here to fix my issue that occurs regardless of my gfx settings?
Of the "eSports" games I enjoy I actually really like the FGC. Absolutely hate shooters. Don't want to get into that because it's massively off topic.
What you're saying... Is to Kill windows entirely... Do I have that correct?
That wouldn't really work, most processes restart themselves rather than just fully closing.
Playing Ranked is also something I just do as a filler when in Discord calls.
Do you run... like... Hyprland on Linux or something?
Do you have the mythical, non existent Tekken 8 Arcade cabinet?
I'll give that a shot when I get a chance, where would that be in Adrenalin?
I have a Modern enthusiast ready PC
AM5 DDR5
CPU: 7800X3D
Ram: G.skill 64G Dual Channel 6000Mhz DDR5
Mobo: X670E-F ROG Asus Strix (Bios updated)
GPU: EVGA 3090 FTW 3 Ultra
PSU: EVGA 1300 GT
I don't have those issues I'm suggesting things for users who have those issues
and FPS would have easier time with latency compared to a game where attack moments are measured in frames not hitscan
v sync on? why would u add latency to your gameplay?
You are right V-sync should be turn off even if your PC is on the best Nvidea GPU
Not a single dip yet.
Seems like Resetting the shader cache in AMD Adrenalin was the right solution
Still... going to use VSync for now, The tearing makes visual clarity harder
Solid 59-60.
Dunno how to put "Solution found" but clearing the AMD Cache improved things.
