1) Hardest character to make
2) Have to update every time new character adds to a roaster
3) Will be banned in competitive play because of his nature
Not going to happen. Character got ditched for a good reason
Because
1)They managed to accomplish this over 30 years ago with Tekken 3.
2)This is a standard procedure in every online competitive game today, there's nothing groundbreaking they need to figure out.
3)Mokujin wasn't officially banned by Namco, it was just excluded in some tournaments based on the organizers' decisions.
The time required for Mokujin to load a character's data has not been an issue since T6/TTT2.
In fact, it was never a problem since TTT1, where Unknown doesn't even change character data between rounds but within the rounds themselves.
Anyway. Two things that I hope for Mokujin:
1)Free DLC.
2)For him to become a final boss of a future title. If TK8 doesn't murder the franchise, that is.
Misaligned hitboxes by using height to change characters styles on top of bulbous hands that don't have a proper shape.
