How To Play online vs other Players?

How do you Play against other Players ? Couldnt figure IT Out . Somehow im Just playing against Ghost Charakters but Not real ones .

Hi, in the main menu go to the ONLINE tab (PRESSING RB),
then u can press multiple game modes with online play.

the most common are:

RANKED MATCH:
a online mode against other players, u earn points by winning, and u can loose said points by loosing, after reaching certain ammount of points, u rank up and get a NEW RANK.
Ranks are separated by colors and names, u can find teal ranks,green ranks, orange ranks, red ranks, purple ranks, blue ranks, golden ranks.
the higher the rank, the harder it becomes to win since other players skill increases too.

in ranked mode u can select how much rank difference u want when u queue for games and pick the internet quality of your opponents.

when u are about to promote, u get a PROMOTION OPPORTUNITY pop up on your screen, if u loose a lot, u get a DEMOTION FIGHT, going back to your previous rank.

usually u earn more points that what u loose until blue ranks.
is a very fun, but stressful experience, but the first ranks should be a breeze.

QUICKPLAY MATCH:
same as ranked, but without points and without being able to select the rank difference, u can find anyone here, from a begginer, to a God of Destruction, usually the game will try to pair u with someone on your same skill level. this is the best mode for learning how to use your character and make new friends, usually high rank players likes to play quickplay cuz they dont risk any points.

both gamemodes are useful for earning EXP for your fightpass (in case u bought the current fight pass)

another option in the online tab is

BATTLE LOUNGE:
is like a mini world with chibis at the arcades, u can costumize your own avatar and meet other players, this gamemode is FANTASTIC for playing with other characters u need to practice against, people there usually are very friendly and social.
