Will i never be able to play this game again because of the disconnection rate?

Alright, let me explain. I bought Tekken 8 two weeks ago, and I'm completely new to the game. My computer has always been decent, but it had a major issue: it didn’t have an SSD. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem, so I kept playing. However, I started noticing that, because I was using an HDD, the game often failed to connect to ranked matches. The game ran fine, but the loading times were so long that I kept getting disconnected from the loading screen. I didn’t realize this would be such a big issue. Over time, I also noticed that the number of players I was facing kept decreasing, and their disconnection rates were rising. After some research, I realized I made a huge mistake. So, I decided to stop playing until I could get an SSD. This week, I finally bought one to play Tekken, but now I can’t find any matches. I’ve been searching for about two hours without finding anything. I know that the disconnection rate goes down as more matches are played and not quit, but how can I do that if I can’t find any players? Is there anything I can do, or is my copy messed up now?

TL;DR: Bought Tekken 8 two weeks ago and played on an HDD, causing connection issues and disconnections in ranked. Upgraded to an SSD, but now I can't find any matches at all because of my disconnection rate. Is my copy screwed up or is there something I can do?

hi! u can try setting the connection setting to ANY and ANY rank, basically it makes ur pool of players available bigger, then keep playing and the disconneciton rate will eventually decrease.

it takes 50 games without disconnecting to lower ur DC rate to 0%.
every disconnection/plug is a 2%.

if u have problems finding players in your region, u can try using nordVPN and setting it to a more active region like NA1 or EU. (not really recommended tho, namco can ban u eventually for doing this)

I already try to do that, the problem is that, i only find a match every thirty minutes to 3 hours
So yeah, i am trying to reset my disconnection rate but it's really hard.

25x and you should be fine just avoid steam maintenance cause 1 RQ will reset it

As far as I know it’s 50. The gams tracks 50 games history and each disconnects equals 2%. So a player needs the last 50 games to be clean to have 0%.

This guy here needed 36 matches to reach 72% DC rate. I really doubt the game makes pluggers a favour and reset the rate quicker than add it app. It clearly looks like each DC is 2% from simple 50games history.

then people would never escape a D/C rate due to Steam Emergency maintenance /regular Tuesday counting as a D/C %.

Then just keep playing. You may wait forever for each match now but your are getting closer to resetting the DC rate.

Does it always require ranked matches to lower the rate, though? OP could try sitting at random cabinets at the Lounge, if not. Way easier and much faster.

I think its only via Queue so Quickplay and Ranked
