Heihachi tracking is busted
Anyone feeling difficulties sidestepping heihachi? It feels like df12 or ff2 is almost frame perfect to sidestep. Ive done like 5 labbing sessions in a week on same moves and still get clipped online all the time. Its the only character i labbed that much with 0 result

His range is absurd, that's why it feels like he has good tracking but he doesn't for the most part.

Yeah his "tracking is bad" problem is pretty fake tbh. I feel like Lidia has a harder time vs sidesteps

Ive been ff2 from all angles idk who brought up his tracking is bad. Hell ive been clipped by heihachi holding back.

She probably is the most linear char in the game right now.

He is most steppable character in game

FF2 as every ff move can be delayed and thus stepped accordingly same with ff1+2

His every tool is easily stepped ssr besides b4. His homing has no range and real homing starts at 24f or in form of launch pusnishable hellsweep. That is why he is balanced compared to tekken 7 where his ewgf tracked, 1b2, b4, f23, df1 and you could not step at all (also ff2 tracking in tekken 7 was omnipotent and hit you at 360)

bro I've been hit by his omen while I'm already standing right next to his shoulder. either some of his hitboxes are just outright bugged or it's just tekken's online connection being ♥♥♥♥ as usual

FF2 will always be weird especially when performed with deep dash input or if you try to punish too early (you stepped corectly but increased your hitbox with early punish)

As for df12 you should be able to step in the middle easily BUT only just frame version, normal one can't be stepped like most strings and must be punished at -13

any ff- move is tracking during the ff part, because character realigns when player taps forward. you need to either delay your ss or sidewalk continuously.
will try

I'm not that much of an expert, but I wouldn't recommend stepping ff2. Hei can delay it quite extremely and it basically turns into a tracking move. But it's -15 on block, very punishable for those with long range punishers..

df12 though seems very linear. I can avoid it even with King, who has to sidewalk most things other characters can just sidestep. not at the pointblank range, but overall it seems quite steppable.
i can punish with electric on dvj if i sidestep block it, if i just block it its too far away. Not sure who can reach that far except claudio hopkick maybe?

That is how it was in previous tekken but it is severely nerfed rn and you can attempt that with reason and force heihachi to really delay it if he wants to have a chance of catching you

Never attempt to punish ff2 unless you have long reaching fast mid like heihachi iron palm or paul death fist or hwoarang b3. He has nasty set ups from tip range ff2 on late or improper punish like his parry, iron palm set up or straight up ss/backdash into 100 dmg launch
