Note that when using it your inputs have to be more precise than at 60 fps, the game is polling your inputs faster so errant inputs aren't as easily buffered out.
What it can cause is the frame drop indicator to go crazy if you do not have rock solid 120 fps in your case. This would lead to imposed higher RB frame spikes that mostly would only manifest on your opponents end, meaning they may get rolled back to before they pressed the block button, and that's dirty. It could also cause the game to lower your settings automatically due to not being able to maintain the set framerate.
u cant unlock the framerate itself, but u can use software like loseless scalling and make 120 "fake" frames, basically the software duplicates the frames and makes it looks smoother, but u will have the same reaction times basically since the game runs at the same speed.
