Why Heihachi returned ?
I guess harada wants more playerbase and suddenly bring back heihachi. If he really wants the character (He shouldn’t resurrected btw imo) at least he should have been wait last season

Interesting story implications. Besides, he´s a fan favorite. He´s been in all tekken games and is one of the most iconic.

And because of cash, i suppose
desperate move

I used to think heihachi was like the real evil one, til I played the tekken 7 singleplayer mode, and poor heihachi suffered a lot

In t7 we learn that Heihachi wasn't evil until his wife..., transformed into a monster.

Then he became what we know

You're joking right. Heihachi is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ who's the equivalent of a yakuza boss in his universe, original sin imprisoning his own father and let him starve to death to take over the company. Spawning fatherless children just to see if they have the devil gene. Turning Kaz the way he is now by his own hands and actions (literal). Hei should've stayed dead.

he had to kill him cuz of the devil gen, it's part of the mishima nature, I blame kazumi for all this ♥♥♥♥♥

T1 player since.

Yes, that's the idea we always had about Heihachi (including retcons), but his last stand in T7 elevated him up to a level it became a favourite of many.

And after that, it is explained that he wasn't actually evil. Everything he did was after Kazumi's attack.

The Hachijos are the bad guy, who had a pact with Devil, this last enemy of Mishimas.

Mishimas are actually the "good" guys, who had been fighting monster since medievo. Hachijos attack Mishimas because Mishimas were the only ones able to defeat Devil. Mishimas are kinda greek demi-gods, just forquick understanding.

Kazuya was good until he made a pact with Devil (being a child. Yeah, total tragedy). After that he got defiled and wanted only domination (Devil)

In tekken 2 he was no more, but his shell became legend.

So young..., old Kazuya forever.

But we have Heihachi since T7..., the King of Iron Fist

Knocked off Devil out of Kazuya

He went down like a man

In short, he was betrayed. And yeah he shouldn't have done that to Kazuya..., but just imagine his shock after Kazumi's attack..., we all would have done something similar with Kazuya. We are all man, and if suspect that our son is going to become amonster..., we do something. Yeah, mothers would protect anyway

It really is true that the players write better stories than the developers

Still a mf. IIRC, he buried jinpachi alive and turned mishima zaibatsu in basically a yakuza organization. And that´s before kazumi´s death, i think.

not a yakuza organization, a military complex industry.

Well, i think it was kind of a criminal organization with shady business right? Beyond what you said, of course.

Because why not. Almost nobody cares about the story.
Tekken Tag Tournament had dead characters as well.

Characters are just skins + movesets.

Anna has more playerbase than Heihachi but Harada dislike Anna and he didn't listen community. Harada cares about Mishimas
