I should start labbing more xD
Anyone shocked he’s in the top 5 least picked characters? Nope, thought so
In T7 I honestly felt he had access to decent 50/50 with his slide and FC being okay to play around.
In T8 he has become ultra in the tracking/+frames department, absolutely insane initiator that controls neutral very heavily and has some of the best heat in the game.
Top that off with his Df1 being very good to bait linear moves from enemy by doing Df1 -> SS, halfstep block.
Now his B1 (Is it b1?) or w/.e that mid string is now has a true mixup with mid, the high leads to more SS baits and he has homing frametraps etc.
Kinda insane what they did here.
I think he is definitely S tier but nobody plays him so he's underrated/unsat on.
He has become very gimmicky with very strong fundas to back it up and there is no execution barrier thus it's a plug n play complete package char.
Execution does have one thing outside of "Muh execution" though, execution by itself adds extra frames to whiff punishing etc, it's why I whiff punish with Jin half decently only with EWHF and on Alisa my Df2/b4,4 are basically 99% guaranteed to whiff punish u even if you do light recovery move.
Execution adds a lot of extra timing, which is one bonus to making Ultra hard chars requiring it.
Shaheen lacks this so everything is super accessible/fast to use.
U want say Nina, Yoshi, Drag, Feng
