Keyboard or Hitbox?
Currently I'm using a keyboard and I'm in Tekken King with Shaheen and Feng. I was thinking of getting a hitbox but will it massively improve my game or should I just stick to keyboard? I feel like hitbox is just the same as a keyboard

I played on both and I liked hitbox more. I find it easier and more fun to play with bigger buttons.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you think the hitbox improved your gameplay?

the only reason u buy hitbox as a keyboard user is to play at local

You got a point there bud. I don't really plan on playing locals, although it could change if I reach God of Destruction

The difference between hitbox and keyboard that makes me switch to hitbox is the use of thumb for up movement... since that way I can be more conscious at sidestepping. though other than that I think it's about the same...

IMO as I Use both would say try hitbox (would recommend Junkfood Arcade's snackbox micro XL). Especially if you intend to do any tournaments or even just play with a friend irl. The advantage of going with a hit box simply comes to portability and, the fact that you only have the buttons you need and wont have to worry about accidentally hitting F when you want to hit D. Overall it wont give you an "overwhelming advantage" vs keyboard but at least for me its more convenient and comfortable.

Mixbox best of both worlds.

But korean lever is the best.

Both are good if you get high end mechanical keyboard but even membrane one without ghosting is gonna suffice

I like Jthe snackbox micro XL but it's way too overpriced imo. I saw a cheaper alternative in AliExpress which is a chinese one but I think they're the same quality

How long did it take for you to naturally adapt to pressing the up button with your thumb?

Not into sticks honestly. I personally think leverless (keyboard, hitbox, mixbox) are superior to sticks.

About a day or two for me...
if you wanna play on tournaments, then learn how to hitbox(for consoles), if you only play on pc - play keyboard

I learend this game on hitbox first, then transferred to korean lever.

Both work, but when it comes to being a mishima I truky believe that stick is the way to go.

Way to many directional presses with hitbox or mixbox.
