How do you counter Eddy's 3,3,3,3,3?

Noob question here. But a few times now I've come across an Eddy on a 5 win streak who only presses 3,3,3,3,3.... I only know this because I've checked the replays and then felt like an idiot. I'm only at Shinryu rank so this is something I've only seen at orange/red ranks.

I don't own Eddy so I can't lab him. How do you counter a guy who only mashed 3 with Eddy?

Duck the secnd to last hit and launch him

The first series of punches (3.3) are two medium attacks. If you blocked the second attack, you can punish Eddie with any medium attack and thus you get a combo. If you took damage from the second attack or reacted late, then next you will get a series of punches (3.3.3). The first attack is medium, the second is high and the third is just as medium. This means that you must duck under the second attack and thus punish Eddie very hard. But if you make a mistake again and don't react, and your opponent keeps pressing 3, then after the previous series of attacks you will get a low attack, which is very punished on the block. If Eddie misses with a low attack, remember that the second attack is a high attack.

the issue is the pushback on block sets you up so you need a good range attack to get in if you want to stop his hand stand jive shenanigans.

If you just want to counter his 33 mid high thats one thing, but most prefer to scare the crap out of Eddie in general from even thinking of using handstand.

db,4 second hes in handstand right after you block 33 it will CH him hard
if he switches to 3,3,4, db,3

You can also time Leroys b,2 parry in line with Eddies leg and decimate him.
That should help CC should also have some vids relating to Eddie as well in his Long long list of strong tips. leme see i think its a guide now

The easiest way is to duck the 2nd or 3rd hit from handstand, or block and launch the hell sweep.

This is the answer. It's just the mix of mid-high blows which can be countered just by staying still so...

you just duck the last kick , this is the easiest string in the game to avoid, if this is what you're losing to you got some serious skill issue
