a few simple adjustments will make all the difference
TMM success with Kazuya is mostly a combination of pretending he's engaging when in reality he's turtling them to death , he's really good at that
and when he does go on attack mode he's utilizing a combination of disrespectful/ desperate offense , like abusing hellsweeps in a way you wouldn't expect someone at those high ranks would do but that's exactly why it would work for him
or just doing predictable lows and scrubby patterns that again you wouldn't expect someone at that level would do, it's almost like he's testing the waters to see how much he can get away with spamming something until he gets punished for it
alot of good players will lose to him because they approach him in a very respectful manner and trying to outplay him carefully like he's an EVO champ or something ....and meanwhile he's doing the exact opposite and it works
i find this whole thing fascinating , how you can win simply for having a disrespectful playstyle i often do this and it works, i can see what he's doing because i do it too, but nobody else is aware of this and it's funny to me
this is how you beat TMM: make him come forward by not chasing him at the right moments and also don't respect him too much, he's good against respectful opponents but struggles against those who don't give af about who he is ... in tekken 7 he would often lose to purple-blue rank spammers and it was hilarious
a noob doing scrub strats is not the same as a veteran doing scrub strats
hopefully someone other than the same 5-6 trolls who are active on this forum
i really hope this forum is not as dead as it seems , i always see like the same people here it's weird
I appreciate the enthusiasm, but what is this?
alot of players will actively try to position you against the wall so you have to be aware of these things
and it doesn't help that most stages in this game either have a balcony break, wall break, or explosive walls besides being small af like that stupid helicopter stage or the MMA arenas
Me. I just about never win against Kazuya. The Wavedashing 50/50 casino is my archnemesis
and always be aware of the demon paw they love to spam this dumb move because it's a heat engager that gives them access to his dumb heat garbage = free damage
and of course don't let him push you into the walls, keep him in the center don't play 2D tekken
I always start rounds by backdashing no matter who I'm up against. And it's quite hard to keep your distance when Kazuya can jsut wavedash at you with the speed of light.
But thanks anyway, will keep it in mind.
