stop losing to Kazuya guide
for those who dislike Kazuya like i do listen to me carefully , i see so many people getting destroyed by Kazuya and it's making me cringe

-don't press on round start

-always keep him in the center of the stage don't let him back you into the wall because you'll be stuck on the walls forever when he hellsweeps you, if you're constantly against the wall you're playing wrong

- don't chase him when you have the life lead, Kazuya is a defensive turtle monster and by chasing them you're making it easy for them, but by making them come forward you're making it hard for them... remember this.. minimize taking unnecessary risks and play it smart

- changing sides is another galaxy strat, most of them struggle doing electrics on both sides and by simply changing sides you'll be messing up their entire gameplay

-and most importantly when he's in heat stay the hell away from him and don't let him get in your face , his heat is hella broken at close range, keep him away until his heat runs out

I admit i usually forget my own advices when i fight this character because most of the time i don't feel like trying and tryharding because i'll win anyway so i'm just chilling ....but sometimes a Kazuya will trigger me and make me get serious and that's when i activate the full anti- Kazuya protocol and whoop his ass

that is all... now go and stop losing to this 50-50 demon wannabe edgelord

often i see good players losing to TMM's Kazuya and i just cringe hard like " why are you chasing him bruh can't you see what he's doing ? read the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrain"

a few simple adjustments will make all the difference

TMM success with Kazuya is mostly a combination of pretending he's engaging when in reality he's turtling them to death , he's really good at that

and when he does go on attack mode he's utilizing a combination of disrespectful/ desperate offense , like abusing hellsweeps in a way you wouldn't expect someone at those high ranks would do but that's exactly why it would work for him

or just doing predictable lows and scrubby patterns that again you wouldn't expect someone at that level would do, it's almost like he's testing the waters to see how much he can get away with spamming something until he gets punished for it

alot of good players will lose to him because they approach him in a very respectful manner and trying to outplay him carefully like he's an EVO champ or something ....and meanwhile he's doing the exact opposite and it works

i find this whole thing fascinating , how you can win simply for having a disrespectful playstyle i often do this and it works, i can see what he's doing because i do it too, but nobody else is aware of this and it's funny to me

this is how you beat TMM: make him come forward by not chasing him at the right moments and also don't respect him too much, he's good against respectful opponents but struggles against those who don't give af about who he is ... in tekken 7 he would often lose to purple-blue rank spammers and it was hilarious

using scrub strats when you're good at the game is quite a powerful thing

a noob doing scrub strats is not the same as a veteran doing scrub strats

Sharing is caring. I think his post is for us who want to learn more. I welcome all posts like this as it's my 1rst Tekken since 5 on PS2 and I want to learn all possible strategies to find my own way to fight later.

this game has ridiculous pushback on block you'll constantly find yourself against the wall if you're playing 2D tekken and you block alot without sidestepping

alot of players will actively try to position you against the wall so you have to be aware of these things

and it doesn't help that most stages in this game either have a balcony break, wall break, or explosive walls besides being small af like that stupid helicopter stage or the MMA arenas

don't round start by mashing, just block and get some distance between him and you, safety first, offence later

and always be aware of the demon paw they love to spam this dumb move because it's a heat engager that gives them access to his dumb heat garbage = free damage

and of course don't let him push you into the walls, keep him in the center don't play 2D tekken

most of you don't even know how to get up, like how to roll away from the walls, yall need to stop watching TMM guides they're useless and start watching Anakin's guides.

I always start rounds by backdashing no matter who I'm up against. And it's quite hard to keep your distance when Kazuya can jsut wavedash at you with the speed of light.
But thanks anyway, will keep it in mind.
