I got the same brand, really enjoying it and the like 200$ I saved over a brand name HitBox.
Just waiting on my mixbox; keyboard is superior to the three named above.
I never in my live saw any non arcade "STICK" users tekken 3 - Tekken 7. Only the cheatbox let you do skilless users do stuff you couldnt without it. And you can press in 2 different (left/right) at the same time, thats impossible on controller or arcade stick. How that is allowed...
Cranky 'coz you're hungry, aren't ya?
If you press left+right, it makes a neutral, that's pressing nothing with extra steps...
Wow, that's a long-winded way of saying "How dare you buy a tournament-legal peripheral".
Fight stick has buttons for attacks.
Leverless has four buttons on left for movement, instead of stick. It's just pressing buttons with your other hand (generally your left).
I have two hitboxes in a layout simlar to Q/W/E and V on my keyboard. That V, below everything else, is for Up. Q/W/E is left/down/right.
For Tekken, I use right thumb for the lower button. This helps with some movement tech. Also, I don't need my right thumb to press attack buttons as well, as it's a 4 button game. For SF6, I use left thumb to jump, because there are 6 buttons so my right thumb is useful there.
There are also WASD orientation leverless options, with up above left/down/right, but I much prefer the layout I have, with up under your thumb.
I got used to leverless (it took time for my first controller to be custom made by Furin Arcade) by playing SF6 on keyboard for a month or so. It's far preferable to pad. You could buy a cheap mechanical gaming keyboard to try it out, without ruining your current one. I'm rocking a £50, ten-year-old Corsair K65, and it's still going (and I bought two different replacement keyboards over the years, expecting this one to give up the ghost).
