So how much customization is actually unlockable by playing?

I've come from Tekken 7 where there was a massive list of customisation options, allowing me to create many custom characters and reference outfits.

But looking at the current options I have, i'm a bit concerned that either most of the items are going to be from a paid battlepass/DLC.
For example one of the hairstyles I wanted to equip was from a sci-fi pack that cost x amount of tekken credits.
I don't even know if I can get these for just playing the game or if this is already showing how monetized this game is.

I also can't seem to find a Treasure Battle mode. which is what I loved to use to just kinda zone out and do a bunch of fights vs CPU's that would get progressively harder, it was literally hop in and go with that.

Is there a treasure battle equivalent mode? and are there more items in the game that I just can't see because I haven't unlocked them in the game, or are these limited options genuinely such a massive step back from Tekken 7?

Very little. They didn't add the shop/battle pass for no reason.

Ghost battle and super ghost battle ( or something like that forgot what it was called) is your ghost battle equivalent, every character gets like 4 unlockable outfits that you’re allowed to color any way you want

You can’t mix and match them with any other outfits (for whatever reason) but there are a lot of customization options.
