To dodge, you must Side Step and do one more step by walking in the same direction, this first step after SS will evade linear attacks. => for example, SSLeft (push Up and release the controller) and push up one more time to walk. You'll evade at least 2 hits before the 3rd will track you again.
if you chain SS+one more step and repeat it again, you can evade slow long attacks from far too.
Throws can't be SS in Tekken 8, nor tracking moves (with the blue Fx).
There is rumor the patch after this one will change homing on throws
defense exists you just have to be insanely fast to use it the same as offense
