How is Kuma not considered OP?

Literally one of the most knowledge checky character in the game besides Yoshimitsu and Xiaoyu. Every Kuma player I encounter is Tekken God above and is always on a 5+ winstreak or something because the amount of bs you can get away with this character is crazy. That charged low not being launch punishable on oki is just way too disgusting.

Kuma waw always a meme character back in tk7 but he’s now a legit strong character with annoying knowledge checks

I think it's just that most people(including me) don't know matchup that's why he seems OP or annoying. You try a combo which works on rest of the cast? Guess what? It doesn't work on Bears due to their hit box. Fun character to troll with though.

every character is 'knowledge check' if you don't know the match up

Just block up and do save strats it hard to see if hes crouched or not if not matched often, 111 is a Kumas downfall when you learn it.
Hellsweep is something you have to look for constantly.

Its basically a waiting game for a mistake to punish with a fast combo starter.

Yoshimitsu still plays “Tekken” in higher ranks, you can still get away with Kuma by spinning around the floor and throwing out random unblockables and dealing 50% hp from charged attacks

in his defense, he's a bear, a bear should be obviously OP, u cant compare a 100 kg man with a 1 TON bear ready for going BEAST on u.
