ue polaris crash
Running the game on radeon 6800xt, keep getting the polaris crash. weird thing it was only until recent update that I got this now. Didn't happen before. I've tried doing what house remedies that people recommend such as -sm5 or comp mode/admin etc etc. Keeps happening even in offline play. Is there anything else that consistently makes this less painful?

The polaris crash will never be fixed, this company doesn't have a clue

Great advertisement to play SF6 instead, GG Namco

I'm getting this ♥♥♥♥ all the time and I'm really angry about it.

Online ain't worth playing anymore because I'm just gonna end up on limbo thanks to that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ disconnection rate and reports. Garbage af.

you can always stick to quick match, nobody cares about the % disconnect rate there

rank mode is garbage anyway

I have a Radeon 6800 without XT.
Completely disabling Resizable BAR support in the motherboard BIOS helped me.
And I didn't lose precious FPS in any game.
This patch solved the problem for me. And I re-enabled Resizable BAR support in BIOS.
So the only suggestion is to try disabling Smart Access Memory or Clever Access Memory in the BIOS. It helps some, and some doesn't. But if you don't try, you won't know.

This has just happened to me, 6800 too. It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying, sometimes I can play for hours on end and then in other instances it'll happen back to back.

I used to be able to play without crashes if I kept all textures on medium, but after the last patch it happens at any texture setting. It especially likes to trigger when the opponent does a rage art which does a good job of making me look like I'm plugging. I'm also on a 6800XT. I haven't tried messing with resizable bar yet so I'll give that a shot.
I ran the game with VKD3D on Windows, and haven't got the Polaris Crash since then. My GPU is RX 6800.

I had it constantly on RX 5600 xt . But on the new 20gb graphics card I had maybe one or two crashes only....

Just one note. Disabling Resizable BAR in driver settings does not help. That's why I disabled Resizable BAR support in BIOS.

6700 XT here and also crashes after crashes. Nothing helps.

Okay, reporting back after disabling resizable bar in bios. At first I thought it was fixed but now it crashes again. I've tried a ton of fixes so far but they've all been a waste of time. It's hard to diagnose because it's so intermittent that it can seem like a fix. The only thing that used to work was setting textures to medium, but now I get crashes at any texture setting. I really hope either Namco or AMD can fix this.

it happened wd me as well. I disabled AMD overlay and set it to default profile and it fixed this issue for now.

If it happens on a specific stage, you should definitely try one of the potato stage mods. I can link you one but you have to be more specific.

The game just got crashed for me 5 mins ago. I have 6600XT.
Disabling resizeable bar fixed the low fps on certain stages but not the Polaris crashes.

I am quite sure half of the negative reviews are because of polaris crash fix.
