Alisa is not that easy, especially compared to likes of Azucena or Victor (or Law, for that matter). Massive move list and most of her good moves are pretty risky. It gets bad when you play vs someone who actually knows Alisa.
Which is not that many people, and I can understand she must be really frustrating to play against if you don't know the matchup, but you really can't compare her to characters who literally get away with using 5 moves ad infinitum, like Victor and Law.
I'm not saying she's particularly hard to play, but she's not a braindead character like some others.
love the Teggn community.
Chip damage she can only do in stance and in heat? Sure, after they nerf the chip damage Leroy, Bears, Jun, Hwoarang, Kazuya, Victor, Nina and a few others do first, because that's supposed to be her main gimmick to the point where she gets nothing extra in heat, the 2nd worst, if not the worst heat smash as balance aspects, but somehow she's still not the best at dealing chip damage.
Her flying from afar? Side walk left on reaction, maybe lab the timing a bit in the lab.
Like, you need to tell us what you want nerfed for her.
let's nerf her tracking- oh wait, her tracking is the worst in the entire game.
let's nerf her launchers- oh wait, her launchers are really bad.
let's nerf her pokes- oh wait, Bryan just got buffed and has some of the best launchers, and best reach, and best damage output in the entire game and a guaranteed unblockable oki at the wall.
Yoshimitsu exists.
i will never understand why people complain about Alisa but ignore Yoshimitsu entirely.
he is one of the most broken characters in the game, ever since launch.
My guess?
Because Yoshimitsu is one of those characters that they also don't know the matchup of, but since he's so complicated, they chug if off to "too complicated, I'll never learn the matchup anyway", while on the flipside, Alisa isn't complicated, so it's actually pretty easy to learn her matchup, thus that excuse doesn't fly, so rather than them learn the matchup, they just cry.
