I know what you mean however as I have seen my opponent disconnect rate go up with the new update....I hope whatever is causing it gets fixed soon as Tekken mostly revolves around the Online since its CPU is so weak. (Compare Tekken 8 CPU with SFV there is a STARK difference in the highest difficulty Computer players)
In that regard SFV DESTROYS Tekken 8 CPU its not even a contest at this point ...there needs to be a higher difficulty available I feel like in Tekken 8 so it can compete.
Have you tried adding adding "-sm5" in Tekken 8 game properties through Steam?
Also, check this out

Hello, yes I get the UE-Polaris error in a separate window. It crashes when on the player screen loading into a match and yes I have tried the -sm5 on launch options and it is still happening unfortunately.

Thanks for this, I'm on AMD.

I remember having to do something like this on the early days of Nier Automata, that time I was using Amd FX8350... it seems an amd thing...
Thank you, I'll take a look at doing this.
Hello, yes the only time it crashes is on the VS player screen before loading into the stage/match.
Thank you. I will give borderless a try, nothing else so far has worked.
Just wanted to update you on that fix you mentioned. It's worked great and I haven't had the DXGI error crash since I went borderless, although I do sometimes get a black screen freeze but no where near as often as the DXGI error.
