Anyway to stop the annoying low launcher that Zafina has?
What i mean is she has that obnoxious down light into medium launcher BUT if you block low then her medium launcher will hit you regardless and if you block medium hit doesn't matter her low will automatically give her the launch, is there anyway to stop this spammable thing? 3-0 a zafina decided to rematch cus i always do regardless then got basically 0-6 from her spamming that damn launcher.

You need to manually block the mid, not neutral guard it, by that I mean, hold back. The mid can't hit you unless it's on counter hit, in which case, yea, stop pressing so many buttons.

Once you blocked the mid, it's -13 on block iirc, so smack her with whatever your 13f punisher is.

Not sure what you mean by 13f punisher, i'm playing Jin if that helps

13f = thirteen frames

It's not a move, but the speed of a move. A "punisher" is a move that is guaranteed to hit in a specific situation and your opponent cannot block it unless you do it too slow.

-13 means that Zafina cannot block for 13 frames, so any more you that is 13f or faster is guaranteed to hit.

For Jin, those moves would be 1,2 or 2,4 or b1,2 or d/f1,4 or 1+2

Considering you named the moves "light and medium", you don't know Tekken inputs, so allow me to help.

Left Punch - blue dot in-game - square on PS controller: 1
Right Punch - yellow dot in-game - triangle on PS controller: 2
Left Kick - green dot in-game - X on PS controller: 3
Right Kick - red dot in-game - circle on PS controller: 4

Glad to see people complain about Zafina. It means there are people still playing her, despite how awful she is.

She will be high tier in few days though. She has received some insane buffs in the next patch. I expect to see her played a lot more in tournaments now.

I don't think these buffs will change her game much. If she was the only character getting, maybe. Like this, just better than she is now.

For tournaments I'm not sure as I don't follow any. That is very irrelevant thing for most Tekken players.

It will change her massively IMHO.. Now super fast 1,4 into stance has been buffed from +2 to +22 !! .... AND, the instant follow up has been buffed for df1 from that stance from -7 to +6 ( enormous buff), which means she can further follow up on this with more pressure.... Taking into account that her evasiveness is very good.

On top of that, she has several other moves buffed with + frames like d3, or Wr1+2 which is now homing ( can't side step) , much faster (borderline non reactable) and with lower recovery. Plus she had hitboxes buffed on some moves.

I think she will be a lot stronger now. Phidx seems to agree :

Yes the tournaments themselves do not matter for most but they still influence the popularity of characters over time. So many people are concerned by winning above all, so they go for chars that have good reputation and coverage on social medias/youtube.

The more pros and streamers play some chars with success, the higher chance a lot of people watching them or reading forums will play these chars, which then influences the people who lose to them who end up trying them.

On paper looks great, for the game - it's up to see how it works. I know Bamco isn't really good with buffs or nerfs, so there is a high chance this is just a fluke. She is hard to play character, comparing someone like Dragunov or King who get a lot of damage with little effort.
Also, she wasn't played much in T7 when she was a lot stronger.

Phidx made mistakes before. I shall keep my opinion until the patch drops and I try her.

I always forget I'm speaking for myself. You have a point, I totally overlooked that.

All in all, I like and dislike her buffs. Like because she really have issues in certain setups and it's harmful to less skilled players, and on the other hand I dislike because people will start hate on her... again.
