Just found out electrics are near impossible on some Keyboards.

My keyboard seams to add 1 frame of delay between arrow keys and ASDQWE etc being pressed at the same time. And no this is not me sucking at pressing buttons simultaneously as im able to do it just fine on a controller maybe not 100% of the time but i can pull off 2-3 electrics in a row on controller as opposed to it coming out once in a 100 tries on keyboard.
Iv bean playing fighting games on keyboard my entire life due to emulation.
Its just what i am used to and play best on and im not even all that bad.
For reference i can do the electric inputs near instantaneously on keyboard (no macros) and if it was not for that 1 frame input delay i could probably do them 100% of the time several times in a row.

On one hand i don't really play any of the Mishimas but i can see how this would frustrate some of the people who do and play on keyboard.
Lucky no other fighting game has an issue whit this and will not outright refuse simulations inputs if you are off by 1 frame.

tekken gods or straight up macro cheating.

most are probably using macros the amount of low levels I see throwing electrics is insane.

One day I did 5 perfect electrics with reina without heat in a promotion fight "while Into The Stratosphere 2nd" was blasting at full volumen and landed 3 of those on the enemy, my eyes started tearing up because of how beautiful it was, I felt like the most dangerous tekken player in the world ;_; This cheaters take away what makes playing a mishima beautiful.

when ever I happen to get one in the heat of the moment I smile on the inside especially if i get one off a sidestep.

That’s not true. Even Quadans (Lever) and Yamagi (Leverless) ♥♥♥♥ up electrics.

When I spam EWGF I’m really just trying to get used to the motion so I can wiff punish when I need to. Sometimes it takes 2 rounds to get the groove going. I still haven’t tried a double electric combo during a match.

I have a regular dual-sense. As stated i have no issues doing electrics on controller problem is that im worse at all other aspects of the game on it.

OMG i just found a way to fix this issue to an extent.
Tekken 8 lets you use P2 inputs when you play online.
All i did was bind left and right inputs for player 2 to F and G buttons and now when i press S+F or S+G there is no 1 frame delay for the simultaneous press.
Im able to do electrics now.

This technique is already used by many keyboard players, look up gafro box or gafro mod thats where the idea came from; wavedashes are also done easily with the extra directional buttons

As stated i prefer keyboard and dont plan on spending extra money when the game works just fine on it despite the Electric isue which as stated only affects me if i ever decide to main one of the mishimas and even then i figured out how to work around it.

i can say X Box controller ain't it either.

my old X box controller died and i bought a new one, guess what:
the new controllers buttons AND D pad AND triggers r of way worse quality and way more fragile then my old controller + i have to pay twice as much for it.

i don't even dare to play tekken anymore with it out of fear of breaking it.
