Valve every year does call to arms that allow them to introduce best workshop skins for characters into the game officially.
There is no point to go after modders expecting people to buy something in theshop. They don't even have anything in the shop I would want to buy even if I didn't ignore their mtx skins due to their attack on community.
namco is doing the right thing in protecting their IP by sending a message related to Namco Properties.
Namco legal team however fd up when copyright strikes on youtube with out news or forwarding a warning which caused obvious serious backlash.
Namco could just block all mods via the exe like cheat detection, but they aren't doing that. But they might if people abuse their property which they will because they don't get why namco was doing aside casual hurrhurr buzz word greed.
