I'm Bushin/Kishin now.
I feel like everyone in t8 can do electrics from Ruler on.
Be it Hwo, Mishima or Jin.
Everyone is KBDing and don't get started with Nina and her glitching.
I was TK in T7 and I'm having huge issues with staying Kising in T8.
People are definitely stronger.
I play on Asian servers... the experience might differ.
Blue is the new Red yes.
No jokes.
Emp is around previous Fujin/Raijin.
Who did u play in t7?
obviously there is still a large gap between a god of destruction and fujin but let's not pretend that getting to fujin isn't an accomplishment all things considered.
No matter what rank is brought up in a discussion there's going to be someone who goes "Oh, that's a noob rank." It'll come from a ranked addict with no tourney experience, of course.
that the level has dropped drastically compared to Tekken 7 to reach the blue ranks...
This is simply due to the fact that the game has been made easier to a point where you no longer have to learn anything to win, it has become extremely easy to turn around a match. I come across a lot of players who don't know much apart from combos, heat and hitting armor shots.
The Tekken team did this on purpose I guess to flatter the ego of players who weren't too invested in learning the game, now they are happy, they think they are very good.
But don't be fooled, rank doesn't mean much in Tekken at this point, and in the long run the gap will be well defined between players who have made the effort to improve, learn the matchups and work their executions, and those who knowledge check their opponent and abuse the brainless mechanics that the game offers them.
Gods?
Less ranks. All sorts of skill levels mixed in blue ranks. There's tons of spammers like Jun, Victors, Azucenas, Dragunov, who have never played tekken 7 before.
I say for me Kishin and Bushin players, at least those not playing Stier broken characters play extremely well, they are talented. And when I check their profiles they usually have 1k-3k hours on Tekken 7/ were god ranks.
All new players you see in yellow or orange ranks at the moment will come to blue ranks eventually, ANYONE can reach blue ranks now if they play for few months, that easily. Meanwhile in Tekken 7 that was a high rank most had never reached unless by savescumming etc.
It is a flaw with the ranking system. In Tekken 7 you usually fought of your same rank right? It doesn't make any sense now. The old ranked system was far better, once you ranked up you truly improved. Here it is meaningless.
The blue ranks will become way more populated, even tekken king and above will be so populated because of how easy the ranking system is.
As Harada pointed out, Kids these days cry easily over demoting, so that's the reason it was made easier.
I trully believe that Fujin in T8 is the equivalent of Suzaku in T7.
Actually they're both the 16th rank starting from brawler.
DEMOTION BEFORE WARRIOR, fight against the same rank, gain less points, lose less points, unless you are at a winstreak, more difficult ranking system, more ranks:

As another player pointed out:
Gap between Good and Bad players can never be shrunk in T7 by stupid mechanics, only by actual gameplay.
T7 didn't tryhard to appeal to casuals, you either learn the hard way or you'll get stomped everytime. You were gonna be forever at teal or green ranks, never able to make it even at red ranks in a month, maybe not even a year or more. So it is what it is. They made it easier. And it sucks. Now every single new player who is orange/red in tekken 8 will be blue rank in less than a year, just a few months depending how much they play, I bet around 2-3 months from now, from the ones currently playing.
