Safe to download Semi-Potato Stages mod?

TL;DR:
Can I get banned for using the mod called "Semi-Potato Stages Pack - TEKKEN 8"

I ran the T8 demo on stable 60 fps, after game release I ran the game on stable 60 fps on any map but after the first or second patch I no longer have stable 60 fps. Instead it constantly fluctuates between 37 and 57 fps, which makes it pretty much unplayable.

However, after game release I constantly got Polaris Unreal Engine Crash Error during Practice Mode after around 15mins, which crashed the game.
Since 2 patches ago, I rarely encountered the Polaris error, probably 3 times.

The fps issue has not been fixed yet. I basically traded the Polaris error with fluctuating fps.


Thats why I thought maybe a mod called Semi-Potato stages could help out, yet I read a few posts that mentioned that they got banned for using innocuous custom character mods (although I believe that they probably used cheats/scripts or anything of that sort and are now pretending that it was regular mods, not that I have evidence for that claim). Hence, I'm unsure if I should install it or not.

We really have no idea about the mod situation. Bamco, as almost all companies tend to do, keeps quiet about it.
