Apparently he's going to be a big part in the free story dlc that's upcoming though
It's so lackluster they want to sell us these characters back into tekken like it's some big selling point for the extra cash but cbf even given them the baseline character treatment.
I mean, a fighter using capoeira shouldn't have a serious origin story because no one would believe it.
a short cutscene & It's like 5 fights? that would literally do but they couldn't even come up with a character episode for peoples money lmao.
So AKA we are going on with the story as usual for what you paid for (Deluxe, Ultimate), but not having character episodes or base for the new characters you also paid for baseline character treatment
That's correct because in essence it was not free, but rather paid upfront.
It has always and absolutely been in all games. You can make content for a year for free, but the moment you ask to pay five dollars, the punishment of heaven from angry players is coming.
Players are just as greedy as the gaming companies. They are literally two sides of the same coin.
yep first thing i did was get excited after buying the Ultimate edition, to hop on and unlock Eddie Gordo's Character episode and was like wtf? then i went back and seen a picture 'now available' i clicked on it and it took me to the store.
That's why instead understanding it's not a gift/giving process but rather a product of trade,
Make a bad product/service and people wont come back, now that i know the introduced characters wont even have baseline character content i wont be buying a pass from them again.
And in return if they wanted to make a new story / continuation story they can easily make money by selling a proper expansion.
But lets be real we all know they are cutting corners because they are crying over the fact they ''only'' sold +2million despite such highest of praise that will no doubt have more people buy the next iterations through positive renown publicity & word of mouth.
Each DLC fighter gets an arena, an arcade intro and outro, plus a story expansion on World Tour and it's all free. Yeah. Even to those who never bought anything. And you also have the "rental tickets" that grants you the ability to play the paid character for an hour.
Namco, on the other hand, just adds the character in both game and main menu and a buncha crap on their store. Lazy af.
