How do I deal with Eddy?

I'm having a hell of a time trying to deal with the mixups, I main Steve and find my tools that can hit him ducked (at least the ones I usually use) are not fast enough to punish the spam, any tips on how to know when its my turn against this guy?

Honestly? The problem with Eddie is the numbers. He has a 13-frame launcher, some holds do too much damage, and I think some holds don't have enough punishment. That said, Eddie is very predictable. It took me a day to consistently punish him for being overly aggressive. He also has an insanely low number of moves. Most of his animations are very easy to spot and figure out what hit is coming next, it just takes a little practice. Just duck in time and he'll die.
