Baek Doo San

Hello Tekken community.
I wasnt a big Tekken player but my favorite character was Baek Doo San (in t2 and t5.) My friends loved his down X X up X launcher.... :')) since he is cold as ice and not part of the mishima/kazama family I doubt he will come back lol SO

I was wondering, is Hwoarang similiar to Baek (share some moves) or are they both totally different characters ? Thanks !

Same but lets be honest here. Morrigan from darkstalkers could have been a better pick than a rehash.

Morrigan for Doa sounds even better.

Hwoarang is very much also the Taekwondo guy - you'll get the same vibe of kick based pressure with some evasive jab pressure. The gameplay transition from Baek to Hwoarang shouldn't be too bad.

Their personalities are very different though. Hwoarang is a cocky egomaniac, so if you like the more professional martial artist vibe you might not like him.

If you want a character who's ice cold and not part of the Mishima line, you might like Dragunov, Leroy, or perhaps even Feng. Not Taekwondo folks, but they're closer to Baek's attitude.

Never gonna happen. Support for more content has stopped a year after DOA6 was released here on steam. Hopefully, Tekken 8 wont suffer the same fate after the Tekken 2024 tournament.

Even if DOA 6 still had a support I highly doubt Capcom and Koei will do smth together anyway. :') I still hope for a new game. :)

TBH even though I m a doa freak of nature, I want it to end in DOA6. Yeah it ended pathetically but at least I dont get to see DOA get injected with the Capcom trend and become a Capcock guzzlah.
