Hehhe Yep

If you ever have trouble with game controller drivers I suggest getting DSX on steam

Its just easier and faster UI you can download hid hide for free and use steam for the most part its just easier to alt tab then clock Use Emulated Xinput ps4 or whatever the game supports. Hid hide helps remove other devices sadly it does not remove the mouse (which I swear causes tekken 8 to lag)

It's decent, DS4 has better.

you sure? :feeling:

have you felt the dpad on a Ds5? or are you just a fan of the sharp raised corners on older pads..
DS4's raised corners also adds to blisters and fatigue as well as makes the delay longer when moving around.

You also don't have the trust of always getting d+f d+b u+f u+b each time, instead having to build a sweet spot that is much more painful to repeatedly access than the smoothed edges offer.

Engineering design is not speculative it's relative.

Nah, DS4 was much better which is why I said DualSense is just decent. My wavedash, backdash, sidestep / dash electrics or iws2 on Kaz were much sharper and faster on that controller. In fact after many hours of DS my execution is still ass and my backdash goes from god tier to seizure at random times which never happened on the DS4. Recently especially, currently I'm playing with a damaged thumb and I can barely wavedash at all because I get tired fast af since the dpad on DS is harder to press.

i find the PS5 controller absoultely horrible, the dpad feels way too stiff on a new pad, when its used a lot the dpad is prone to missinputs (when i press up sometimes i get up-forward/backward without touching the f or b the slightest), and i really dont like the ergonomics. Ps4 controller dpad was the magnum opus for me until i switched to korean stick and mixbox.

Ah, you don't like when people call you out on your made up statements, should've said so from the get-go. Sorry for hurting you. :steamsad:

No I wasn't expecting to take an average controller assessment from the wounded.
I was expecting to get a general assessment from the average user.

Has nothing to do with hurt feelings has to do with RNG variables.

I could say my back and forth in that I can do EWGF and PEWGF on the controller but that's not exactly a fair contest vs the handicapped, hence the RNG avoidance.

My point was based on the average experience, we could compare hand sizes and other factors but id have to know hand position etc etc if we wanted to go into the ergonomics. Where now its convoluted because Injury = more comfortable. the DS5 is a larger controller so stressing your hand is more than likely a factor hence I would prefer to avoid those ratios.

No offense but a sterile environment gets a proper assessment and the post is more of the which is better as a base term.

Hand pain means smaller lighter controller = good
less fatigue with hand pain is more tied to the variable you are accustomed to.

See the issue

Yes. Have two DS4 and two DualSense.

I find DualSense's d-pad troubling my diagonal inputs more than DS4, and it's easier for me to slide thumb across them. And I'm indeed fan of older and more simpler gamepads.

Don't have a problem with blisters and fatigue as I don't press buttons a lot, directional ones included.

It may be a hand size thing I have XL hands and the DS5 just seems more comfortable than the DS4. I used ot like the 360 pad but then the DS4 then a Apex Flydigi, then the DS5.
