Hwoarang unlimited combo?

I'd like to phrase this without starting a fight, I'm newish to the game, been playing online since the dying days of Tekken 7, and 8 is obviously amazing. But I'm having such a headache when playing against Hwoarang players, because they seem to have a combo that never ends and I can't interrupt so I just get hit over and over and if I think i see a window to hit, I'm wrong and just get hit more, and its the same story every round, once that endless combo starts I just can't escape. It only started happening around this rank I'm at which is Shinryu.
Has anyone seen this apparent never ending string from Hwoarang? I really wanna learn how to get through that. Obviously I don't know anything about Hwoarang, I'm aware kicking is his 'thing' but usually combo's have an ending but this one isn't.

Sorry if my awkward phrasing is hard to understand.

It's because you don't realise what strings side steppable or jab punishable so hwoarang players away with murder.
Only thing you can do is lab the character and figure out what the punishes are.

Yeah He's the first character I feel I need to learn just to play against, every other thus far I've been able to just learn what the player is doing and work around that but Hwoarang feels like a different animal altogether for me.

I have sat out my punishment and been rehabilitated into a normal and functional contributor of this forum. I now disavow all my previous posts prior to banning.

Wait until you meet a decent Xiaoyu, you'll be wishing for a hwoarang

I haven't played against a single Xiaoyu at all. At this rank it seems to be Hwoarang, Reina, Victor and King I run into frequently.
