So much juggling is not fun, also the momentum for some players works way better than for others
For example,if King gets momentum there is hardly enough time to break free from his grappling and once he starts it's pretty much over. Also the smallest mistake and the opponent starts juggling with absolutely no way of stopping it,and at some point it stops being fun.

kinda agree, but all of them are manageable
for Juggling. you treat them as 1 move, the "Launcher"|
most Launcher are punishable, and the very strong one are punishable with your own Launcher
and most of them are mid attack, so you can do nothing and they can't launch you
for the low launcher, most of them are slow so when you "see" it, you can low block and punish it (but it take practice)

about momentum, i agree, some character always keep their momentum even when you block them and its very annoying so you need to practice their move, find their weakness for example, high attack that you can duck punish for example

the only thing id want is maybe a recovery button that saves u from combo once per round BUT can be blocked by the opponent if they read it.

the juggles themselves arn't so bad because of the damage scaling its more about the walls and stuff but the walls and floors are mechanics of the game since very long now so u might gonna have to go play something else like pokesnap which is also a good game

as for king hes very good rn and even better against new player so devs will def hear about it but also any character can be shutdown by simply running practice mode or with a friend learning the matchup then add learning to break grabs (which apparently looks like alien science) it throws king off and puts him below average

you have 180 health, a mid screen combo is 70-80 health in most cases. This allows you 2-3 mistakes a round, this is in line with any other fighting game. I have actually had more time outs in 8 than 7, with all the aggression this is weird until you consider, in 7 a low parry could carry you all the way to the wall.

alisa and jun can keep pushing and pushing and pushing a lot.
im starting to play victor for the same reason, at least he can swipe the half ot the entire screen and keep enemies away / connect attacks fast.

compared to reina, victor is stupid fast

This game is not made for peopole who want fighting, it's literally made for people who like rote learning.

All fighting games work the exact same way: if you get hit, you're stuck in the combo until it ends or they make a mistake and drop it. This idea that in every other fighting game you can just "Escape" a combo is untrue. By definition, a combo is inescapable. The only exception is games that have a one-time use combo-breaker mechanic like MK and Skullgirls.

This type of complaint only comes from people with zero understanding of the genre. It's like playing an FPS and complaining about getting shot.

but you don't even have the game

This braindead comment appears too often. You understand the game is also on PS5 & Xbox. You know...where most of the playerbase actually is. I also play on PS5 cause I don't need to sit at a desk like a hermit to play a fighting game when I can do it from a Sofa & be with my wife or something

learn to block

T8 could use some adjustment with juggles and range. Of course with damage output certain characters have, mostly for no reason.

Ahh man these "Pro" Mk players in here saying MK is better because you can combo drop, except if you use your Combo drop and get predicted you get reset into an even higher damage combo.

So to balance "Combos being too OP"

they suggested a system that high level players will get even more combo damage off.

Einstein levels /10

This is why noobs are NEVER the ones in charge of balancing.

Either your house is the size of a shoebox so your pc is close enough to a tv or you are playing via remote play. Neither of which are signs of anything good
