At least the characters in Tekken have character progression.


Like... SF story.... exists. It also could just disappear and nothing would change to the game. They are not related to each other and some stuff barely gets explained.

But then you got Tekken: Jin being the prime example how a character developed over the years, which fits the main story, too.

And I personally love the character episodes and enjoy them a lot.

What progression? Jin is a little edgy crying ♥♥♥♥♥ as always. Kazuya and Heihachi hate each other as always. Other characters are irrelevant as always.

Tekken story is the same in every tekken. It basically spins at one place for 20 years.

Yes. Tekken story is basically your basic anime + my little pony tropes - friendship and love wins all yay. Power of characters is stupid and inconsistent. You might love it if you are 13 y.o.

Tekken is far better and it isn't even close. Street fighter doesn't even have the balls to go one game without Ryu Ken or Chun li.

every game progressed their storyline

Tekken gave so much of a ♥♥♥♥ about its story backthen they literally reinvented Jin's entire moveset to go along with 4's story. cope all you want tekken's story has its flaws but its still far better than SF, street fighter didnt even change kens or ryus design till SF6 LOL

Wow, one trash pile is a bit smaller than the other.

Tekken story is ♥♥♥♥ for kids anyway, with devils, angels lol etc . T7 Story was okay because of Akuma, other than that = trash.

Tekken 8's story campaign ends with a climactic showdown in a storm with two sexy buff Japanese guys beating each other half to death with a high-energy song playing in the background.

I'd say that is enough for me to say that Tekken has the better story.
