I have an issue with two monitors

Is it just me or does T8 always switch to the main monitor when you click into it?

Is there a fix for that?


What I mean is.... all my work related stuff is on monitor 1
And games on monitor 2
And when I play tekken I move it to monitor 2. But everytime I click something in monitor 1 tekken automatically moves to monitor 1.

So it forces me to move my work related stuff to monitor 2 and play on monitor 1.

And I can't switch to boarderless window for some reasons

Don't have any issues with other games... or even Tekken 8 demo

How do you set with monitor you use for tekken?
Do you use windows+shift+left or right arrow to set the screen? If not you could proabably try it.

Some games defaults to the Windows main monitor (the one that have the taskbar) if the game doesn't gives you the option to select a specific monitor it will always default to the one where the taskbar is.

I tried to make the other monitor my main one. It somehow still jumps back ... it's kinda strange

if you do borderless and have HDR on, it automatically switches to fullscreen. Fullscreen can only be used in your main monitor. I hope they add in the feature soon to just swap monitors. I use standing desk and arcade stick. I don't wanna lower my desk everytime I want a quick match before going back to work.

My problem is tekken keeps switching to monitor 2 upon exiting customization. It just starting doing that, despite me playing since launch with no issue like that. Windows+shift+left/right don't work because my monitors are different resolution, so I have to completely exit the game and reopen it

There are many variables to the monitor "problem". It would be highly recommended if you guys could break it down like this:

OS: Win 11 24h2
GFX: AMD/Nvidia
Version: Adrenalin XXXXX
Monitor type: Monitor 1 xxxx, Monitor 2
Main monitor being monitor 1 obviously
How much hz support
Is at least one of your monitors a 21:9
FreeSync/Gsync: On or Off
HDR on/off in Windows settings

In-game Tekken 8 settings: Fullscreen or borderless.
-Do you have specific settings in Adrenalin or Nvidia panel for T8?
-What on earth do you have running on the background that could interfere with T8?
I.e some weird screenshot/video recorder app, benchmark tools and the list goes on. Nobody knows what could possibly interfere with the game itself

There are too many variables to tell what issue each has in order to pinpoint to a direct solution. I run two monitors and I also have a widescreen 21:9 as a secondary from Xiaomi. Zero issues. All games run on my main 16:9 4k monitor.

Im not very pc savy whatsoever, idk what half of that means
