Asuka won't be in Tekken 9

I have a theory around Asuka, I don't think she'll be in Tekken 9 and there's some evidence pointing towards this:
-One of the only characters to not have a battle or any real presence in the story
-Her story was completely dependent on Lili again
-Lili now is finding other rivals and connections, moving away from Asuka
-Asuka got nerfed into the ground while Jun is a top five character right now
-Jun is clearly geared to be involved with Kazuya in some way
-The Asuka and Feng story line is completely gone, Feng's new rival is Leroy

Asuka has no place anymore in Tekken either gameplay wise or storywise. Her popularity feels somewhat deliberately sabotaged in order to get Asuka players to just give up and play Jun. It feels like she lost a good chunk of her counterhit gameplay, she lost some good strings, lots of moves got nerfed, her parry is made worse. She is a defensive character in a game that is all about aggression and her new tools don't really do anything for her in this regard.

As someone who mained Asuka in 8, this character feels completely gutted to me. I don't feel like I am playing Asuka anymore. I have mostly swapped over to Kuma, Reina and Jun.
This is also reflected in the winrates we recently saw, with Asuka taking a bottom spot.

In summary, she was completely gutted in moves and story to probably promote Jun as the only Kazama, making Asuka probably DLC in Tekken 9.

Do you know how pissed off the horny degenerates would be if Asuka wasn't in the base roster? They would eat alive not only Harada but the entire Tekken team as a whole.

If she was put in DLC or something people would say they're money hungry for "fan service" sales. Yeah though, since Jun is in the game there's no reason for Asuka anymore. She's way better gameplay wise and actually has use in the story. Asuka is a "Kazama" in name only.
