Sidestepping in this game is garbage when half the abusable moves have massive tracking on them. They need to completely remove heatburst tracking on all heatburst moves too.

Jack has a weirdly good sidestep this game, it's kinda cool!

Steve is probably the king of lateral movement imo - but good arguments can also be made for Alisa and Xiaoyu.

Eh? No, you've been given a pretty consistent array of answers.

Also I forgot to mention Asuka, Feng, Jin, and Hwoarang. Normal basic step, but they've all got sidestep attacks that give them a little evasive boost in that direction. Makes them very slippery at range zero.
