Will there be a Rank Reset when the Battlepass ends?

I was just wondering because I haven't been playing Tekken 8 for a while and thinking if your rank is going to be reset or only in the next Season?

idk I recall seeing a TikTok mentioning rank reset in a Tekken Clip but I couldn't find anything on Google, must've misunderstood something. Thought I'd better ask so I don't have to put much effort into ranking up and focus next Season/Battlepass

Hopefully not. They should only clear all profile information and replays, like on Street Fighter 6.

imo they will they did on tekken 7 per season i would like to say but i might be 100 percent wrong but if they did rank reset it would stand to reason that they most likely will imo... but people will argue about it i will say i feel imo that most indefinite they will three ranks down as before

If they planned a rank reset, then I'm pretty sure that they would announce it before it's going to happen - besides, it would be, in my opinion, more logical to do a rank reset every Season.

Have Tekken 7 had any rank reset? I don't think it did and I don't think T8 will ever have. They may add more ranks or adjust the system if rank inflation will be too bad.

Rank reset only benefits smurfs and masochists. I don't want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lose my achievements and I'm sure as ♥♥♥♥ there are LOTS of players out there who think the same.

If they want to make the players stick around for longer this ain't a solution to even CONSIDER.

The whole rank system needs to be redesigned from scratch, its terrible

learn from sf6, their system is way better and works

SF6 has its own problems:
- super strict region lock affecting some people
- no way to derank from bronze, silver, gold and master ranks and heavily spoiling or even destroying ranked experience for some players.
