We need Penchak Silat character in Tekken 8!

Yes, we already have Reina, who uses some deadly and aggressive Silat low kicks and stances, BUT! Still her style is more Japanese Taidō. It would be great to see a character who responds to her with the same aggression and counterplay, and silat is perfect for this! Just remember the fight from Psycho-Pass Makishima vs Kogami, in which Makishima used Penchak Silat against the aggressive kicks from Kogami! Let's hype this thread, guys!~

And Escrima too, there is so much great martial arts that need to come in Tekken, from Asia, India and Africa.
About France (my country), I would like them to take out Victor and put someone who use french Savate and "canne de combat".

She was a crap representation of Savate. She played like a Baek replacement with harrier stance instead of flamingo and not a like a savate fighter.

On the commentary of the setup of the drill.. Most people who strike first don't hyper extend their limbs because they risk the complete loss of their limbs; like being grabbed at the length of the arm, or grabbed at the ankle, or the foot..

It being that up close would reflect more like fighting Leroy.

A lot of what styles Tekken uses is outfighting styles. A lot of what I see here is infighting.

vid 1 was bad choreography ty Hollywood action vs music.
vid 2 was sloppy

All martial arts are based on survival and combat even *some* "contact~Bullshido" can be used in situations even if 9-10 silly usually a few tweaks to the stance and application can make a difference between fake vs applicable.
