Arslan made it to the finals... What is a pro? The only person winning? Only one guy?
Combo Breaker had 1,633 participants... What do you mean, make way for the youth? This is a fighting game. If his time is over, the youth should be able to move Knee out of the way, and he shouldn't be able to reach the top 8, in the winner's bracket on top of that...
I too had good reflexes by then (I was 21 in 2001) due to age.
Now in my forties can't react nowhere as fast as I could back then, obviously. It is nature.
I think Knee´s problem right now is the same as mine, simply speaking, age (he must be near his forties too).
You begin being very good at something you like when you're young, but eventually your skills decrease due to age. It is life.
Still, he is a god of tekken, but he struggles to defeat the younger generations like Arshlan, obvioulsy too.
Everything that has a beginning, has an end.
Still, I don't think he will fall without a storm in one of the following tournaments before he announces retirement.
The number of active professional Tekken players who travel to tournaments is minuscule. When I see the same names over and over you know there simply isn’t enough money to incentivise people to pursue a professional Tekken career
So it’s pretty much a given that any big name in the community like Knee or Arslan is guaranteed to make it to the top 32
So many matches went down to the wire or just felt like anyone could have won. Arslan rode his luck to get to the final, there was at least 3 matches I saw where he barely won and could have been eliminated. It’s funny that he called this game a ‘casino’ because he sure got lucky to make it that far
Nobody is going to dominate this game. Expect different people to win every major tournament. The evo Japan champ didn’t even make top 8. There is no consistency with this game
NOOO I read on Reddit that if Knee doesnt win a major tournament he is done for also Bryan carries. I trust the REAL sources of information.
Hey man how's it going. It's been 5 years, but I still regret not labbing your Eddy when I had the chance. Time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flies.
