I also played Dead or Alive in the past, but it feels like Ninja Team and Koei Tecmo doesn't support the franchise that much anymore. That franchise is damn amazing as a couch game with friends with a couple of beers.
Injustice 1 and 2 are just a little snack in between. They are fun, but i'm not really a super hero/villain fan.
SoulCalibur just not my thing, refunded.
But the worst game for me is Street Fighter 6. I bought it and regret it. The World tour gamemode was a selling point for me, without that gamemode, I wouldn't have touch it to begin with. The graphics are awful, the characters are awful, the whole feeling of the game is awful and my god, what a cringy game. Don't like the characters, especially that narrator in Battle hub, what a annoying guy, I really can't stand him.
MK1 is a little bit disappointing, due the lack of content and the boring invasion mode. But now since season 6, I returned especially for the new Mileena skin.
So, I was looking for a second fighting game, just to have some variety while progressing in invasion mode, before the MK1 blackout kicks in again. So, i've tried Tekken 8 demo a few times and I had kinda fun. I was worried that the graphics was bad, but they are alright. I still prefer Mortal Kombat graphics, but Tekken 8 isn't also that bad.
So, just a few hours ago, I bought a copy of Tekken 8. And I must say, I have a lot of fun. Like I said, the graphics aren't really my thing I prefer MK graphics but it could be way worse. But Street Fighter 6, omg it gave me a uncomfortable feeling playing that game. The characters, how they talk and behave, I really want to beat the crap out of some characters. And the graphics are so bad. It's kinda cool that you can make your own character in World Tour, but soon when you enter the game, the character doesn't look anything like how it looked in the customization menu. Awful game, I regret buying it.
So for me, it's right now MK serie's, DoA serie's and Tekken 8.
I don't care if Street fighter 6 has better or worse game mechanics as Tekken 8. I'm a casual player in these games any way. As long I have fun, no matter how good or bad the fighting system is.
This is Tekken 8, most people have either played tekken 7 and or other 3D fighting games and know to duck under a punch aimed at their head or upper chest.
And when they get words that say mid mid mid High, they guard guard guard duck, and punish..
How hard do you think it is to reach yellow ranks?*
To get to Yellow you learn one good juggle and repeat it and that can get you to red tbh the rest being fundamentals and a lot of MU knowledge.
Sam3 as 3ddie
By saying katrina's 44444 and ed'die's 3333 is a scrub mechanic you are saying H3llo w0rld..
"Normies"... 😂
So, what if I did yet I still like SF6, what does that make me, o great gatekeeper?
As a result, in online matches, luck becomes more important than defensive techniques , and advantage frame skills are overused, which reduces interest.
Easy game = more players
Strive has 5k players and in general the average is comparable to T8, especially considering that Strive is a much older, even more niche game. T8 could have done a lot better if the devs made better decisions.
Agreed, SF6 actually went back to the drawing board and made a game that appealed and had polish and plenty of QoL and general changes that fighting games have needed for a long time, including actually decent netcode. While I like T8 way more, it certainly doesn't feel all that much different from T7 in terms of design and feature upgrades, if anything it's more like T7.5, with a big balance change and a ton of low effort, "casual appeal". Even with bias, I have to give it to SF6 for making a more polished game. That's why they can charge all these microtransactions and DLC and not be hit as hard as T8.
