but maybe y'all should also place some blame on the increasingly popular trend of greedy mod creators who try to sell their mods. obviously doing that is going to attract the attention of companies like bamco and capcom, as it creates direct compeition for their own cosmetic sales.

While I'm sure people love to rag on Namco for going after modders rather than pluggers, the obvious question I'm not seeing asked is:

Is it even the same team dealing with the modders that's supposed to deal with the pluggers?

Because I have the feeling the higher-ups aren't like "no, don't go after pluggers, go after the modders because they hurt our money printer store".

Capcom makes absolutely trash games and pays enough marketing to hype people into thinking they're good.

The last Franchise they have with any decency is DMC.

As long as the game doesn't do a live service integrity check you gucci.

It surprises me more that Valvae has been aware of CreamAPI since at least 2011 and has made public statements/forum posts but never really banned anyone, threatened about it or fixed it. The fix is very quick too.

Then we have that Spacewar game that is known for exploiting steam too :V

I doubt t8 does online integrity checks as it can't even detect plugging and just allows you to hex edit your rank.

Honestly IDC about some Legacy outfits, but once Legacy chars are re-released I DO have something I can do, not sure why people say I don't. hahahhahh

Not yet, but I got enough experience to be 99.99999999999% sure.
