can try to block lows as much as a want just nothing happens and no problems in other games.
guess tekken isn't made for controllers /facepalm.
Try borrowing or using a different interface device and see if the down input continues to act up randomly on other peripherals.
Then report back.
I can try and help with deconstructing the controller and replacing parts- but if that is not your bag baby (Austin Powers) then you may want to grab a used controller from somewhere and test.
I am paying attention to how I press the d pad. If I press it straight down, fast or slow, and not leaning towards the left or right, I am still getting a crouch when I want a sidewalk. I hop off to go to offline practice mode, and the behavior is gone. I can sidewalk fine again.
I am using a DualSense 5, and I got it a week ago. It's not happening on other controllers. The controller and d-pad work fine and as expected in every other game. I think it's another Tekken 8 issue but I don't see anyone else posting much about it.
Yeah, USB-C both ends going into my motherboard. Just tried a DS4 and had no issue. DS5 had it again intermittently, again only during ranked, then I just had a good stretch of an hour of no issues. It being intermittent and not able to replicate it is frustrating.
