Victor shouldn't exist
Bro how can this shi even be in the game. I met tenryu Victor that was CRASHING up 1+2. Delete this entire move, it's unstoppable in his heat mode. It gives 24 damage ON BLOCK tf is that and it's only -4. Replay mode doesn't even give me ANY KIND OF HINTS. It only tells to punish using df3 on Reina IT DOESN'T WORK

You gotta side walk it, but heat also gives it a wider hitbox, so if you don't move enough, you could still get hit. Replay doesn't know how to tell you you can sidestep a move, because it's not always reliable.

It's super punishable outside of heat tho, -20. But it forces crouch, so you can't do your standing punishes without canceling the crouch state.

But yeah, I hate Victor too

I am sure there is something you can do
Make otgf -9 pls Mar 5, 2024 @ 11:53am
I would prefer some guest character tbh gameplay wise a bit of waste but imo launch leroy was a bigger waste cause he had so much potential to be interesting and they ruined him

Victor is a wannabe weaker and simpler version of Yoshimitsu.

2 Weeks ago, me and couple others were invited to our mates house to play tekken 8 and some other retro games til the early hours of saturday night. One of them used victor and would always comeback or cheese to win with that dumb move where he teleports and drops with his sword from the air doing a chunk of chip damage or taking away 1/3 of your life bar when hit during heat. what an idiotic design choice. I here they bought out a patch recently yet they haven't nerfed this OP move yet?

To the OP: why complain if he used only one move? Do you think it would had ended in some different way, if he used everything he can?

You can't sidewalk it in the fight. Somehow it tracks both ways. You can sidestep it outside of heat but you don't need to because it's punishable.

And if someone wants to tell me that technically it's walkable, technically yes. But really, consistently no. And risk is too much.

It realigns if you're sidewalking when he throws it out, otherwise it's more than doable. I got caught multiple times if I just do a step, tho

I think he’s a cool design but it’s so lame that most people who play him just mash triangle and call it a day. Thankfully he’s easily punished on a lot of things.

Vic's whole gameplan is to play mind games and getting mental frame advantages.
