I don't really see the "driving-to-stick" comparison because the stick will be in your right hand, but people that play mishimas tend to use stick from right player side, but I think leverless is just the superior option. I got a Haute42 T series and it has been great, but if you're dead set on stick then qanba has a couple cheaper options and they're good sticks. I wasn't able to find a C2 in stock or in a currency I recognized to price-match though.
(Non-Elite version does not have Sanwa parts)
Or Haute T16.
I'm using DYI hitbox conversion of F300.

I got myself a Hori Alpha and I have no problems with the Hori Hayabusa buttons and stick.
Unfortunately have no experience with leverless tho...
that said, i have mechanical keyboard with blue switches and it seems very suboptimal, idk if reds make notable difference but i would go for red switches just in case if you wanna buy it. by red/blue i mean standard cherry mx names for specific keyboard switch types, some companies like razer or logitech may come with equivalents with other names in their custom keyboard switches
Im trying to learn in my G915 with brown switches, I like how it feels for the attacks, but for movement, I start lagging a lot in my head lol, im very used to the xbox controller for tekken.
my other problem is, when I play vs cpu for practice, I can use the numpad and the direccion arrows, but when I go online the game makes me use WASD, is there a way for using the "p2" configuration as main? (with numpad and arrows)
for me its like the appeal of the classics, besides playing tekken, using the stick for playing metroidvanias or other fighting games should be pretty nice
yeah im not really caring about being the very best, Im just into the illusion of owning a arcade stick, I remember years ago playing in those machines and tekken 8 seems like the perfect oppotunity of playing again with one of those. also, I want to use the arcade stick for metroidvania games like deedlit in wonder labyrinth
You should trust your instincts. Don't go to the dark side (meaning competition at whatever cost). There are much bigger values than competition. Winning is just a consequence of what you are. So what matters is what you are. You can be a winner without winning a single game, and you can be a loser while winning all games.
Arcade sticks are big love and great for so called retro games, better said games which do not require analogue inputs. You can buy a hefty controller you can practically use forever because you can always repair and upgrade it easily for the foreseeable future.
