Then go play againts CPU so you can pick costume for them
Most peoples customisations are just awful in general so I would appreciate an option to just show default costumes as well.
But to answer the OP's question. You can workaround to a certain extent by just modding in and replacing custom costumes for the characters if people are using the clothes of the replacements they will show up in your game.
Its a good feature. Could definately used that in MKX when fighting that eyesore Infrared Scorpion.
If you're primarily bothered by the accessories, floating objects, etc. that should be easier, the objects could be made invisible by giving them transparent material, I hid a few objects like that in Tekken 7.
I don't know if anyone made such mod though.
You should check the Modding Zaibatsu discord. If you're paying someone will probably make it for you.
