Question about frame data
If an opponent is -15 on block, a 15 frame startup launcher is guaranteed?

you dont need to be frame perfect, theres a buffer window in the recovery of block stun where you can input the move and it'll come out instantly when your character can move again.

It is worth noting if they are in jab range you will trade if they attempt a jab, though it is still a favorable trade. Starting at 14 is truly safe.

do keep in mind: some moves can not be buffered. if you are using a move that 'should' hit, it is probably because you had to wait till you've recovered and timed it too late.

like what? even the qcf part of inputs like pauls deathfist for example can be buffered, so what moves cant?

btw, can someone explain why I often get knocked down or launched (my opponent not) although my opponent and me trade? whats the math behind unequal trades?

90% of time yes but cause of range or specific hit box it may not be the case

You can't buffer into movement stances like Mishima crouch dashs or Paul's sway, hence you can't buffer electrics or death fist.

You can buffer regular attacks like df2 or hopkick and there's an 8f buffer for those.

Single input movements like sidesteps have a 15f buffer window, and you can dash buffer now by inserting f,f in that 15f and hold down the second forward. A dash will come out on the first frame you return to neutral.

wrong it can just be a bit tight to buffer the move depending on what you blocked

when moves do trade, the properties of the moves still apply
the knock down still knock down
the launch still launch
the knock back still knock back
frame on hit still apply on both side
