No we’re taking about the string because on block it’s her only guaranteed set up for the back heat smash
Any other normal, any time she turns her back on you she is minus, you have plus frames to work with it. So if she tries to heat smash and you press buttons you win
I’m not asking you to side step the heat smash. Please stop focusing on something that’s not relevant here
Reasonably every stance needs to have some way to consistently deal with it.
But in T8 that is not the case, every stance has become a true mixup, turning this game into a crazy guessing game.
To say it simple, stances cover too many options.
Xiaoyu mains don't understand this because they think a stance is useless unless it covers every option the defender has.
That's because they don't understand conditioning and timings, which is how you used to make stances work despite obvious weaknesses.
In T8 they took any of that away. Now every stance has mid tracking left, right, homing highs, powercrushes, strong lows, grabs (which are also homing in this game), and safe options to opt out of it.
Tekken 8 is basically early SF5 now and I think we'll see a ton of upsets in the early tournaments, just like in early sf5.
On P1 side- step right.
It can be beaten- However, the timing is strict and larger characters won't be able to consistently step this string. If near a wall or corner you are taking the mix it seems.
Yes it's mainly a patch to adress obvious oversights.
if you still have heat it's the easiest way to shut it down, the moment you start blocking the string just hold back and mash the heat button, you'll interrupt the final hit of the string, shutting down any attempt for her to follow it up with a back facing heat smash
It's common for Lings to go into it after a heat engager because of the plus frames she'll have, so this set up is super predictable and can be seen coming a mile away
King is mid tier at most, cope harder
Also Tekken Players: Wait, not like that.
This is what happens when you ask Harada for ♥♥♥♥.
Jun getting a buff? Unless they nerfed her tracking this is a horrible choice!
WHY IS KING GETTING BUFFED?! EVERYONE HATES PLAYIING AGAINST KING!
Xiaoyu getting nerfed only makes sense if they increase the speed of her attacks.
I'm shocked Alisa got a buff since she is one of my mains. She was already a powerhouse.
Yoshimitsu nerfed? Why?! He felt balanced.
Jun needs buffs
