Characters that were buffed: Azucena, Alisa, Hwoarang, JUN????, Kazuya, and King... I can't.

Characters that were nerfed: Claudio, Dragunov, Xiaoyu, KUMA AND PANDA????, LEROY????, YOSHIMITSU??? I can't.

Victor's grab is finally fixed.

What a joke of a balance patch. I can't.

No. I play Jun she's completely busted.
It's not about some gimmicky stuff she has, it's simply the properties of her moveset are way too good.
For gods sake, just look at the i10 punish with fc df1 or uf1.

she damages herself with it, it is actually really weak when you take that into consideration

You're complaining about Yoshi, when Xiaoyu is a jack of all trades, master of all. Shes a gimmick character thats tricky with insane mixups and 50/50s. shes got insane damage and oki as well. Thats on top of her having good movement and aop. The majority of the community agrees that shes too strong in the state she is in, how do you all manage to be so blind about it. Im a Yoshi main and it sucks they nerfed his flash but i can admit it needed tuning. They even nerfed his f1+2 follow up after his ff2+2 which is a just frame followup, but aop which dodges 95% of all moves gets untouched, makes sense.

Yes she damages herself to make more damage in a combo... And guess? The designers were so dumb they didn't take in consideration the fact she practically recovers her life back while hitting the opponent during the juggle.

The finisher does a lot of damage to her, it is balanced

Kuma panda are crazy strong. In higher ranks they're represented a lot.
Yoshi is the same.

Jun is supposed to be strong and her buff was more of a consistency buff.
And king is crazy strong amongst intermediate and beginners. In higher ranks, he is ok.

The real first balance will come after the first tournament. That's when you'll see who plays which character and sweeps it.

I am surprised that they nerfed one of the least strong character in the game (Leroy, there are no weak characters in Tekken 8 but I thought he was among the least played and effective, maybe i am wrong though).

Having said that, i think that it is mostly a bug fixing patch, I expect a proper balance patch to come out in the next few months.

That’s because the kids can’t learn to adapt and win. So they whine a character needs a buff or nerf.

I took that into account and it's still unbelievably busted.
Jun usually heals most of her grey damage back very quickly.
Believe me, I labbed her for hours with very strong friends of mine and we struggled to find any move that wasn't good.
The only not so great stuff we found were leftover strings from TTT2 that don't serve much purpose anymore.
Everything else about this character is insane.

Dunno about Jin but DJ is surely over the top. Insane speed with range attacks and half of his attacks retarded flying and eye lasering which is almost impossible to read in mid fight.
