Defensive options are still trash:) Just because I'm not hard stuck at Shin anymore it doesn't mean my stance has changed. More needs to be done!

I had to comeback from 2-0 vs a Flame Ruler YOSHI and the final match I got a Perfect! Time for the old man to go casual lol. I don't think I'll hold Tenryu(Probably back n forth between Shin). I've seen what's out there at Ruler and Better.

I dunno Man. I think I could maybe get Ruler but... Nah just gonna stop.

P.S. Warning for People entering Shin. All those Characters you don't see are going to gatekeep you from Ten lol. Haven't seen Lars, Raven, Lili or Alisa? They are waiting on you Shin.

Tenryu is coolest rank, just stay there, I do the same, reaching purple ranks aint that difficult if u made it to Tenryu, I guess, but they dont look as cool... reaching first blue rank shouldnt be that difficult either, I guess, but it doesnt look as cool either and from there the game becomes less fun, unless u enjoy playing the frames perfectly

I will agree that the Tenryu Icon is way better than Ruler but the GoD Icon looks awesome. Sigh. If I could just knock of 15-20 years I could get it:(

but the GoD dragon is basically the Tenryu dragon lorewise, I guess

I am not going for GoD. Way too old lol. Can't dedicate the time and barely had the patience to grind Shin to Ten. I got Shaheen Way Higher than I did in T7. So I've pretty much "beat" the game for myself.

With Shaheen I got him up to Tenryu too, not my main but I didn't find anything difficult aside when facing the usual overpowered characters, feng, xiaoyu, dragunov etc, the ones you mentioned (lili, lars, alisa) are all full of weaknesses lol.

I think I could get to Purple but I don't know if I'm up for it lol. For one it would mean learning that really long string I see other Shaheens(that I beat up) do. I have my 2 65+ damage juggles and I'm good with them. I would really need to get that string going though. I'm just not up for the work.

Not surprised to see a lot in Purple because as you go up all those Characters that seemed unstoppable Prior to Red seem to disappear and the least Popular Characters start to run sh*t starting in Shinryu.

Lili has very slow animations, once you are patient enough you will see openings and when to hit, for some stupid reason all lower rank (below purple) Lili players do flowcharts/spam. It is way too easy to see all of her attacks and 50/50, they are slow, except some lows. They don't really use their brain much to defend.. and they get too predictable.. (not all but most) This is coming from me that I also main Lili..
Lars players rely too much on heat and their same easy low attacks, once you block those they are full of openings.. do they even do anything else in those ranks?
Alisa? just watch out for chainsaw/dashing nonsense and sidestep her everywhere..and start combo.
Believe me it's not difficult with these characters below purple.. The actual bullcrap characters are somewhere battle ruler and above and you have to work 100000 times more than they do to win. Just a still unbalanced game overall but the ones who main said characters will come and defend them.

Dragonov is going to demote me lol. I was doing good then he started showing up. If I'm just floating between Shin and Ten I'm ok with that. Definitely not getting Ruler if Ten has a lot of Drag users.
