30-day average for Tekken 8: 18,838.3
All in all, numbers are relatively the same and will remain so over the next few months. This also only includes Steam players, so why are you complaining?
Out of all fighting games T8 is probably the most difficult of them all because of its character depth and knowledge.
Just like SF6, i don't see your point
Because when numbers get low, other problems happen online like more smurfs etc etc, and even more 'high level' only players, so for most casuals they stop playing, At the same time SF6 retains more casuals it seems, but I'm not sure how or why.
Do you folk think that T8 would be inviting of a larger range of different skilled players, if each 'skill group' had more to do/more fun ways/modes to play, at their skill level? If the only goal is to get to TGO, then I don't think player retention will last, imo.
Not everyone can be a pro football player, and not everyone can be a top tekken player.
But in football you can play with others at any level and have fun. What is Bandai in Tekken 8 doing to mirror that in order to help keep player counts high, at each skill level? Ghost mode is one thing imo, but maybe there are more things in DLCs that could keep the game going strong for 10 years!
Imagine top football players in a stadium with no one watching, just playing each other, by themselves. That's what happens in fighting games. How do you keep the club players and casuals on board. Because they are the pro player's "stadium filling audience" and those lower ranked players will not relate to the pros if they can't play the game at a lower level for long and if they can't have fun doing it. imo.
=================================================================
TLDR:
The game is awesome, and I think parts of the game areas may be highly tweakable, so what do folk think could keep the player count high, and even raise it up a bit.
That's my question.
Why the hate boner for Tekken?
I don't hate T8. Just stating facts.
Just how it is with Fighting games. Besides, crossplay still exists, ya know, for both games
But I guess whatevet floats your delusional bubble.
Lmao, steam forums, why the ♥♥♥♥ do i even bother. It's sometimes like a slightly better reddit situation over here.
