This seems to be stable for me (5700XT).
Im not able to reproduce the error anymore. For example, it always happened on Stage Fallen Destiny, sometimes random but nearly every time a floor break occurred.
Just curious, we have the same gpu, what cpu do you have? What graphics settings do you use? I started playing on high settings at 1440p, with fsr 1.0. Crashes and slowdowns on certain stages would happen. I haven't rolled back my gpu drivers, but I'm currently using the super resolution feature on the amd software 1080p upscaled to 1440p. Haven't had any problems yet.
I'm using rxt3080ti. Sometimes the game can be played by rebooting the computer.
I got an error when I started the game, so I can't check the setting option. I know when Yakushima stage select it has crashed.
I looked it up and it's known that fatal error is a graphic card problem. So i change my graphic card to an intel A770 but the same crash happend.
In my opinion error is not the graphic card problem. I'm going to do a driver rollback. Thank you

[EDIT 4/2/23] NO CRASHES TODAY
In my bios (I have an MSI Z790-P WIFI mobo) I disabled two Intel Turbo Boost Technology settings completely (there was 2 of them hidden away in OC settings and that trash used to give me problems on my old machine too). I also set my CPU short/long term wattage limits to Intel specified values. Didn't mess with anything else. No crashes all day, online matchmaking and privates. Graphics settings in Tekken don't seem to matter as I was crashing on all kinds of different settings but am currently on all medium with DLSS balanced. Will come back to edit if I crash anymore.
--- ORIGINAL POST ---
I am getting the same error. Can usually get 1-5 games in before it will inevitably crash on the last loading screen before the match starts, or right after I rematch and another loading screen comes up. I had not had this error until the middle of March after a graphics driver update, but I don't think that was the cause. Many people with Intel CPUs (specifically i9-13900K, 14900K, 13700, 14700) have had this "oodle" shader decompression crash since the closed tests.
This website details the error and other possible workarounds.

By just searching for "tekken 8 crash could not decompress shader" I have seen supposed solutions suggesting changing your CPU voltage, rolling back your CPU microcode (I don't know anything about that), disabling hyperthreading with Process Lasso, using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to change your Performance Core multiplier, and even just using Windows compatibility mode. (Last one didn't work for me.) This supposedly seems to be an Unreal 5 issue, and this same error has popped up in other games with similar suggestions to fix.
I am too lazy to try all these and am just waiting for a confirmed fix to be found or for the problem to be solved on Unreal or Namco's end, but because it could be a hardware thing only affecting some CPUs, I wouldn't hold my breath. Best of luck.
